Carbon Emissions Assessment Fly ash and Steel Slag As a Substitute for Cement in Concrete Mixing Using the Method Artificial Neural Networks

Concrete is a construction material made from mixture of Portland cement, air, coarse aggregate, fine and sometimes also uses admixture materials with certain ratio. Cement, which the binding agent in concrete mixture, contributes to 8% world's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Fly ash steel slag are one wastes that currently being researched developed as cement ingredients mixtures. This because chemical composition fly associated very suitable when added mixtures.This study aims find out optimal content terms strength by using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method accordance SNI 7656: 2012. Furthermore, this measure ratio CO2 emissions produced normal concrete, ash, slag, references Idemat2014 Ecoinvent V3.The results showed optimum class F, C, were 30%, 20%, 55%, respectively.
